Omnivore Pressure Cooker Beef and Spinach Meatballs and Stuffed Green Peppers 01/25/2016

Omnivore
Pressure Cooker
Beef and Spinach Meatballs and
Stuffed Green Peppers
Take 6 Medium Green Peppers
Cut off tops wash and clean out seeds.
2  Pounds of Ground Meat
2 Egg, 1 Cups Italian style bread crumbs, 1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese, 1 1/2  Tbsp of Garlic Powder
1 tsp Black Pepper, 1 tsp Parsley,  tsp Basil 
1 tsp Oregano 1 tsp Italian Seasoning, 
Optional 1 Tsp Crushed red pepper seeds
Mix in a large Bowl 
Stuff green Peppers with ground meat mixture 
add 2 Tsp of olive oil to bottom of pressure cooker 
just to coat the bottom 
mix 1 cup of water with 1 tsp beef bouillon 
And place Peppers into pressure cooker 
 Add another cup of water it will not cover the peppers
that's ok the Peppers  will produce water while they cook
make you sauce on the stove or heat up a jar of Ragu or
any sauce you prefer  
set for 40 Minutes
Spread out Kale on cookie sheet on Parchment paper
 spray with olive oil and sprinkle
on Hidden Valley Salad dressing & seasoning mix
bake on 350 degree for 40 minutes or until crispy 
It will get soggy then it will get crisp

Omnivore Pressure Cooker Deer and Beef Stew 01/22/16

Pressure Cooker
Deer and Beef Stew 

Ingredients:
1 1/2 Pounds of Deer Straps or chops
(cut into bite size pieces)
1 Pound of Stew beef meat
(cut into bite size pieces)
6 to 8 Medium potatoes 
(cut into bite size pieces)
1 Pound bag of baby carrots whole
1 Large Onion cut into 2 " squares
(optional frozen Peas steamed and added later)
1 - 4 oz package of fresh mushrooms
(Do not wash mushrooms absorbs moister and loses taste) 
Pilled and cut into thick pieces 
2 - Small packages of Stew mix 
(I use essential from Shop and Save), 

Mix in 1 1/2 Quarts of Water whisk together
McCormick makes it's to expensive
Add Tbsp of olive oil to Pressure Cooker 
just a little to coat the bottom
Add Potatoes the meat, Carrots, 
Onions and Mushrooms
Add Water mixture do not over fill 
there should be a top off Liquid line in the pressure cooker
Put the Lid on make sure it locks in to place set the  .
Pressure release valve to closed Press the Meat button
for 45 Minutes 
If your pressure cooker is new it takes time for the Cooker to build up
the right amount of pressure before it will start counting down.
when its ready you will see it let off some steam
and start it's countdown 
When it reaches all zero's carefully release the Pressure release valve 
until steam stops All way's open the Pressure Cooker away from 
your body let stand a couple of minutes add your Peas to a large bowl
add all the ingredients from the pressure cooker except the liquid
to the large bowl with the peas.
take the liquid from pressure cooker put into a large pot on the stove on low
take Corn Starch mixed with 1 cup of  water  add mixture
 to the pot to thicken for gravy
to the thickness you prefer some people like thin gravy and others thick 
 I like thicker gravy myself
Add the pot of gravy to the large bowl of meat and vegetables

Vegan Night

Vegan
Vegetable and Spinach Soup
In a slow cooker
20 Onces of fresh Spinach
1 Lb bag of baby carrots cut in half
4 Stalks of celery chopped 
2 Cloves of Garlic minced
4 Cups of Vegetable Broth
28 oz can of diced tomato's 
1 Tbsp Red pepper flakes
1 Tbsp Basil
1 Tbsp Oregano 
Add all ingredients to Slow cooker 
Lay 3 Bay Leafs on top put on lid and
 cook on High for 5 hours
Remove Bay Leafs and discard 
You can use your favorite Pasta
We use Gluten Free

Omnivore Venison Lasagna 01/12/16

Omnivore 
Deer ground meat 
Lasagna 

Deer venison Lasagna 
in Pressure cooker
With Garlic Spinach on side
Brown Deer ground meat on stove
Place a coat of sauce on bottom of
of Pressure cooker liner pot
Cut a large onion into thick rings
Place in Pressure cooker to keep the 
lasagna noodles of the bottom so
they will not burn Place noodles across
the bottom of pot you will have to break
 them to length and fill in with 
broken smaller pieces should be level
layer some Deer meat thin layer
add some cottage cheese spread it out
Sprinkle some chopped garlic 
and cover with Grated Mozzarella 
not to thick
and repeat 2 more layers
then the top layer of Noodles 
Sauce and Cheese add 1 cup of water
around the edge and cook with the 
Meat button for 15 Minutes
Let out steam if there is any 
open top away from your body
let stand for 10 minutes with Lid off

Deer Steaks potatoes Spinach
and a salad
6 Deer Steaks Broiled in oven to your preference on cookie sheets
Sprinkled  with Tones Hickory smoke flavored sea salt 
and Webers Savory Smokehouse seasonings
4 lbs of Potatoes cut into 1" Cubes
With 4 Tbs Parsley - 2 Tbs Oregano - 
 2 Tbs Italian seasoning , 4 TbsMinced Garlic
in  6 Qt Pressure cooker 15 Minutes
home made apple sauce 
Apple walnut cranberry spinach lettuce Salad
and Garlic butter spinach
French Bread 
Prep time 15 Minutes cook Time 20 Minutes
